Sandra Starkey Simon is an Adelaide based artist who specializes in printmaking.  Her preferred mediums are lithography, etching, screen printing and monotype.  Her MFA printmaking major was lithography at California State University in San Jose.

Separate but equal to her solo practice is Sandra’s collaborative practice with Fanny Retsek. They have been making prints together since the nineties in San Jose, California.

Sandra has taught printmaking in art schools in the US and Australia and works from Magpie Studios which is surrounded by Adelaide Hills bushland. She is a founder and member of Laneway Print Studio located in Payneham, SA.
